Captain Chase Interiors was established in 1972 by owner and master craftsman Richard Gomes. Richard began his upholstery career in 1955 as shop foreman for Edward Price & Sons in West Harwich. After seventeen years with the company Richard set out on his own. He opened his first store in the Captain Chase House on Route 28 in West Harwich. Richard borrowed the name of the building for his new business and has been serving the Cape Cod community since.
Joined by his daughter Sharlene in 2007, this father and daughter team work together to bring you the best quality and service.
Sharlene brings with her 20 years of experience as a production manager. Before returning home to join the family business she produced such decorating magazines as
Country Living, the magazine Antiques, Old-House Interiors,
Early Homes and Arts & Crafts Homes and Revival.

Captain Chase Interiors offers a full array of decorating services including custom upholstery, draperies, top treatments, fabrics, shades, interior shutters and blinds. Stop by our shop Monday thru Friday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm or call us for a Saturday appointment.
